When moving to a new location it is important to first determine if you wish to keep the current naming, schedules and configuration for each device. The Reconfigure Wireless option allows a device to join a new wireless network while retaining all of the device information. This would be helpful if you wish to take the device with you and install it back into your My Leviton account in a similar location.
If the device is being left behind for the new occupant you can simply use the Remove Device Option. This will remove the device from your account and allow it to be included into a new account by the next occupant.
If you move into a new location with Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices and the prior occupant did not remove the device from their account you can use the Restore to Factory Default option. This will allow the device to be learned into a new account via the My Leviton app and will remove the device from the previous users account.
