Users can choose to update their entire panel, or just one circuit at a time with Leviton’s optional internet-connected circuit breakers. Each smart breaker reports information like real-time and energy usage, and users can set monthly limits to keep an eye on their utility bill.
When a breaker trips or is drawing too much (or not enough) current, alerts can be sent to the My Leviton app on a user’s smartphone, tablet or desktop. Smart circuit breakers can be tripped remotely1, and firmware updates are remote, too – ensuring users always have the latest protection and newest features.
Using a central data collection hub, the system’s status is securely sent to the My Leviton app. This communication capability helps give homeowners peace of mind that their electrical system is functioning properly no matter where they are in the world. In addition, access to the My Leviton app helps contractors securely troubleshoot issues without being in front of the unit itself.
