Nest Thermostat Presence Detection can be used to automatically turn My Leviton lights on or off. The integration is accomplished in the Google Assistant app.
- Start with the Google Assistant app connected to both Nest and My Leviton

- Choose Routines in the Google Assistant App
- Both Home and Away Routines can use the Presence detection in the Next Thermostat to determine if you are home.
- Either of these routines will allow you to add My Leviton lighting control when the household mode changes between home and away.
- Choose either the Home or Away routine
- Presence can be detected based on voice command to a Google Alexa, mobile phone location and the sensor in Nest thermostats. Those settings can be changed in the Starters options.
- To control the My Leviton lights, select the “Add action”
- All of the lights available via Google Assistant will be listed
- Choose the My Leviton Light(s) you wish to control
- Choose Next
- Choose if you would like light(s) to turn on or off and if the device is a dimmer, set the dim level
- Choose 'Add Action'
- The newly created action(s) will be shown
- Press Save
